Influencer, 2015

Influencer follows a lone pink mark across four paintings. It begins apart from a field of white marks, is gradually imitated, and eventually disappears into the pattern it transformed. The series traces how difference becomes influence and influence becomes conformity, until the original can no longer be distinguished from those who followed.
